Spirit Filled Journal

Hey guys. There's something I wanted to share with you. It's actually an idea that I recently started doing, and I thought that I'd put it out there for those of you who might be interested, as well.

Have you ever heard of spirit journals and similar things that people talk about? It's been mentioned on shows like Oprah, and things like that. I've come up with my own version of that, which I call a spirit filled journal. What I do is, each time I make an entry, I'll put the date and time on it, and I'll record things. Whether it be dreams or thoughts that I've had and felt were significant, if I feel that God is putting something on my mind, if there's something that I've been pondering over, or something I've been praying about, I'll write that down and I'll come back later to write down the answer to it, if it's been confirmed by God. And if so, how so. Just, different things like that. I find that this seems to be a good way, for me at least, to help make it more easier to understand what God is trying to get across to me, because I'm able to look back and be reminded of something I might have forgotten. I'm able to look back and see how it is when God is putting something on my heart, and able to compare it to what I might be feeling now, making it more easy to recognize, since I can go back and study it again.

I find that as far as putting down my thoughts on things, it's easier for me to go back and look at how maybe that has grown from what I've had before, how maybe a thought that I've had before has been corrected at some point as I've gone along. I've just found it to be a very useful tool in my walk with God, and my growth in spirit. You could put Bible verses that speak to you, or just whatever it is that might be on your heart to put down. But, I was just wanting to share this with you in case any of you might find value in it, or could make any use out of it.

God bless you.
