U.S. Military Burns Bibles? - April 13, 2011

I've come across a video from CNN and I wanted to share it with you guys. I believe that it speaks for itself:

I'm sure that I'm not the only person who finds it interesting that, in regards to Bible burning, they say they're required to burn their trash. You have to wonder if they even realize the implied jab that was in that. I think that anyone who thinks that the times the Bible speaks of, in regards to the persecution of Christians and the hatred of the Church, and anything that's related to Christ... I think that news pieces such as this, and there have been other things of similar nature I've seen recently, too, I think these are all implying that it's really not as far away as some might think, that it's almost serving as kind of a reminder to tell us to 'watch and see', what we see now and what's coming down the road.

In all of this, in all the times that they burn Bibles or call us names or push us out of anything they don't want us to be a part of, or whatever else we might come up against, whether it be this or true persecutions down the road... Remember, Jesus said:

18If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. 19If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. ~ John 15:18-19 (KJV)

So whenever you see when anything Christ related is being mocked or pushed aside, or any time you find yourself being mocked or pushed aside, looked down upon or laughed at or anything of that nature, see that as a good thing. Realize that it means you're on the right track, because if you weren't, then those who are of the world would accept you. They'd have no problem bringing you into things. But if you find yourself being excluded or anything of that sort, realize that it means you're doing your job, living for Christ on that narrow road, and because of that, it makes them uncomfortable. And, like Christ said, He was hated first, and we would be hated likewise.

I want to remind you that whatever you might encounter, whatever you might see, Christ is with us. If we remain with Him, then what could really stand against us?
